Change is scary.
The idea of taking those first steps on your healing journey can feel overwhelming and terrifying at the same time. You may feel alone in your struggles and like no one can understand what you are going through.
Yet you do not have to be alone on this journey.
You can take those first steps with someone to walk alongside you as you navigate your story and healing. Imagine a space where you are listened to, without judgment, and as an equal. You are the one who knows you and your story. You are not crazy to seek out therapy or struggle with your mental health, rather you have the strength to reach out for help when you need it.
I am passionate about meeting people with where they are at in their journey.
When you walk into the therapy room, you are gaining a connection to collaborate with you as you discover your strengths and rewrite your story in the way that suits you.
I have spent the past two years working at an inpatient facility with adolescents and adults who are in crisis, and have seen the power of therapy to help those that have experienced crises and trauma weave together a new, more empowering narrative.
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and practice a multicultural approach to therapy. I would be honored to have an opportunity to provide a space for you to work together on your healing journey. I would never take a client somewhere that I would not be willing to go myself.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my cats, working out in my garden, experimenting with new recipes as I cook, and working on my latest crafting project (knitting and crochet are my favorites right now).
